House Update

So the big house remodel is finally done...well mostly.  As done as it going to get for now anyway.  There is still some little stuff to do here and there, and some outside stuff that will have to wait till spring.  Anyways, been living in it since october and definately loving it!!  So much more room!!!  And the kids love having their own rooms (now if only I could get them to keep them clean!)

So here's the plan.  I will try to show you the before, during, and after of each space, one room at a time.  Be patient though, exams are coming up so I don't have alot of time right now.  Plus, the house is a pigsty right now (I've been working on exams all week).  So, if I get this place cleaned up tomorrow, I will start the reveal.

In the meantime, here is a look at the outside of the house when I first bought it.  I have lots of plans for it, but ran out of time in the fall.  Hopefully it will all be done this year!!

House from the road.  Kinda looks a little like an old haunted house, doesn't it??  The two big windows in the front will be the master bedroom.  Kinda weird, I know, but it all makes sense to me.  The two front windows upstairs are Rya's room.

House from the driveway side.  Big window is the living room, smaller window is the kitchen.  Upstairs is Devon's window.  Jaedyn's is on the other side of the house.

Same side of house showing deck and upper shed.  Love that tree, but it was FULL of bees this summer!!
Upper and lower shed.  (Door is around back of lower shed)

Another one of the back, showing patio doors.  Can't wait to get rid of that upper shed. The deck continues underneath.  The two windows are the landing upstairs.  Need to do something about that ramp before someone falls through.

View from the deck.  The deck itself is in pretty good shape.  Just need to replace a few boards and repaint.

Another view from the deck.  The lots around us are all empty.  Working on buying them all!!

So still alot of work to do out there, but the inside is much farther along.  Stay tuned to see the transformation......
